Biscoff Buttercream Frosting

Another gem from the Biscoff archives.

The steps to make this amazing Biscoff Buttercream Frosting are simple:

  1. Prepping your favorite cupcake or cake (although I would HIGHLY recommend chocolate – the flavors together were out of this world)
  2. Literally whipping together 4 ingredients
  3. Heavy slatherage 🙂

Enjoy!

Yield: Enough frosting for about 12 - 18 cupcakes or 1 cake (depending on how much you put on each one)

Ingredients

  • Your favorite cupcake/cake recipe, prepared according to instructions
  • 1 stick unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup Biscoff Spread
  • 1.5 cups powdered sugar
  • 3-5 tablespoons milk or heavy cream

Instructions

1) Prepare your cake and let cool completely before applying the frosting.

2) To prepare your frosting, mix the softened butter and Biscoff Spread on low with an electric mixer until smooth. Slowly add your powdered sugar in, 1/2 cup at a time, mixing in between.

3) Add the milk or cream 1 tablespoon at a time until you reach your desired consistency. Pipe the frosting through a pastry bag or just slather it on with a spoon/knife. Sprinkle with chocolate chips or garnish of your choice!
